The page says the association’s membership helps it represent the nation’s small business truckers, gives it financial depth for court cases, and gives it weight when it talks with Washington, D.C., about trucking issues.
For lifetime member options, OOIDA says truckers should call its membership department at 816-229-5791. The page lists lifetime pricing as $500.00 for a non consecutive member or new member, $250.00 for a current 5 year consecutive member, and $125.00 for a current 10 year consecutive member.
The membership form lists standard dues at $45 for 1 year, $70 for 2 years, $100 for 3 years, $130 for 4 years, and $150 for 5 years. It also says spouse coverage can be added at $10 per year, for 1 to 5 years.
The form asks for member information including name, address, mobile number, email address, password, industry title, number of trucks owned, date of birth, and number of membership years. It also includes options to opt in to mobile messaging and to choose whether to receive a free subscription to Land Line Magazine.
OOIDA’s page also lists additional driver registration, with a note that drivers added must not include the member. The page says there are no drivers listed and includes an option to add a driver, along with a note that the maximum number of drivers has been reached.
The page says OOIDA maintains a very strict policy on releasing member information to outside parties and points readers to the OOIDA Privacy Policy link at the bottom of the page for questions about information.
Beyond membership, the page lists OOIDA insurance products, business services, and trucking tools and resources. Those include commercial general liability, occupational accident coverage, minimum essential coverage, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability insurance, group dental coverage, voluntary vision, group term life insurance, business assistance, drug and alcohol testing, permits and licensing, Compliance Connection, Form 2290, online education, a lease purchase calculator, a cost per mile spreadsheet, a fuel surcharge calculator, OOIDA Member Discounts, News & Updates, Occupational Accident Insurance, and Renew Membership.
