Primary sources are mandatory
Every news article and resource guide must show at least one primary source. We favor FMCSA, NHTSA, the Federal Register, state agencies, courts, and other official publishers. A draft cannot publish automatically when its source is missing or unresolved.
How AI is used
Software collects candidate items, detects duplicates, scores relevance, and can draft a structured summary from supplied source text. Submitted writer articles receive a separate AI editorial review. Automatic publication is allowed only when the exact immutable revision receives an approval recommendation, clears minimum score and confidence thresholds, has no block or major finding, has no legal-risk finding, and fully supports every central or material claim.
When an editor steps in
Uncertain, unsupported, legally sensitive, or failed reviews stop safely and enter an exception queue or return to the writer. Editors can inspect the review, the draft, and the supplied evidence, then resolve findings, edit, publish, reject, archive, or correct an item. Newsletter sends always require admin approval. Daily automatic publication volume is capped.
