OOIDA says its membership base helps the association keep representing small business truckers, including funding court cases and giving the group more weight in Washington, D.C.

The membership page says, "The number of members in the Association allows OOIDA to continue representing the nation’s small business truckers." It also says, "Our large membership gives us the financial depth to hang on for the long haul in court cases" and gives the group "weight" when it comes time to let Washington know how truckers feel about their industry.

The page also points to confidentiality. OOIDA says it has "always maintained a very strict policy regarding the release of any type of information to outside parties" and directs members with questions about their information to the OOIDA Privacy Policy link at the bottom of the page.

For new members, the page lists annual dues at $45 for 1 year, $70 for 2 years, $100 for 3 years, $130 for 4 years, and $150 for 5 years. It also says members can call the membership department at 816-229-5791 for lifetime member options.

Those lifetime options are listed as $500.00 for a non consecutive member or new member, $250.00 for a current 5 year consecutive member, and $125.00 for a current 10 year consecutive member.

The form also gives members the option to add a spouse for $10 per year, with the spouse term set from 1 to 5 years. It includes fields for additional drivers too, with a note that the number of years for each additional driver is $10 per year, from 1 to 5 years.

The page also shows member sign-up fields for name, address, mobile number, email address, password, industry title, number of trucks owned, date of birth, and payment details. It asks whether the member wants a free subscription to Land Line Magazine and includes a consent box for automatic future renewals.

OOIDA also lists member-facing products and services on the page, including insurance products, business services, and trucking tools and resources. Those include Commercial General Liability, Occupational Accident Coverage, Minimum Essential Coverage, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short-Term Disability Insurance, Group Dental Coverage, Voluntary Vision, Group Term Life Insurance, Business assistance, Drug & Alcohol Testing, Permits & Licensing, Compliance Connection, Form 2290, Online Education, Lease Purchase Calculator, Cost Per Mile Spreadsheet, Fuel Surcharge Calculator, and OOIDA Member Discounts.
