Look up an inspection violation
Enter the exact code from the inspection report, including every suffix and hyphen. The result shows whether that exact code is listed in Appendix A and calculates its base time-weighted points.
Time weights are 3 for events up to 6 months old, 2 for events more than 6 through 12 months old, and 1 for events more than 12 through 24 months old. Events older than 24 months are outside the SMS measurement window. The base total shown here is severity × time weight for one violation; it does not apply any OOS adjustment, adjudication change, duplicate-cite rule, or per-inspection cap.
