Timothy Billue is the founder, executive director, and chairman of the board of Trucker Awareness Initiative Company (TAIC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing highway safety through education, public awareness, industry engagement, and greater accountability. A retired U.S. Army veteran and former professional truck driver, Billue brings firsthand experience in transportation, organizational leadership, public advocacy, and highway safety issues. His areas of focus include commercial motor vehicle safety, driver qualification and training, regulatory enforcement, autonomous transportation, infrastructure, truck parking, industry accountability, and the policies affecting professional drivers and the general motoring public. Through TAIC, Billue works to improve driving culture by developing educational programs, publishing safety information, supporting responsible industry practices, and encouraging cooperation among drivers, carriers, public agencies, policymakers, and community stakeholders. Billue holds a Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science in Business as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, providing him with a strong academic foundation in business principles, legal research, records analysis, statutory interpretation, administrative processes, and evidence-based investigation. His work is guided by a commitment to factual reporting, source verification, transparency, and providing transportation professionals and the public with a clearer understanding of the issues shaping America’s highways.
